Sculp 1-2: Line/value and endless solutions
Line: the most basic of the 7 elements of art. Line is the mark between two points. The variation and quantity of line an artist uses helps define their work and create a wide array of effects.
Value: the lightness and darkness of a color. Being creative with value helps bring focus, contrast, and depth to a piece of art.
Sculp 1-2 students will practice using line and value as they begin to build their sketch books...

What's on this blog...
This will be a place for students to review info, get inspired, get caught up on missed work and generally be informed. I will post assignments, green sheets, terms, concepts, images, activities and, hopefully, inspirational topics for my different classes.
If you miss a day or just need to review information, you can look up what we did each day. Blogs will be archived to help review. This blog is to help keep
My students and their parents informed.
8/15: introduction to the classes and beginning to learn the unique perspectives of the students and each period.
Thanks for taking my class...
